The faux fishtail

With a centre part, take 2” sections of hair around your face and twist all the way to the ends, toward your head on each side. Grab both twisted sections and tie them together behind your head with an elastic, now flip the ponytail inside out.

Create a ponytail below the first one, and tuck the hair from the twisted ponytail into the centre of the second ponytail, above the elastic. Now twist the lower ponytail. Continue creating tucked-in ponytails and twisted ponytails until the end of your hair.

No-heat waves

Divide your hair into small sections and wind around two fingers. Use a clip to pin the twisted sections up and hair spray your whole head when complete. Let dry, then release, and shake out the waves.

The frohawk

Create four ponytails in a line from your forehead to your nape, along the top of your hair. Use bobby pins to secure the sides of the ponytails in place, then remove the elastics. Pin and style the front section so it’s somewhat off your face, but looks edgy and cool.

The fuzzy top knot

Flip your head over and make a ponytail at the topmost point of your head. Now tease sections of the ponytail and hairspray. Grab the big, fuzzy ponytail and twist it into a bun shape, tucking the ends underneath. Pin in place and spray again for hold.
